PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE
The Town of Naicam is urgently seeking a motivated, energetic Public Works full time employee. This is a temporary position with the potential to turn permanent. Position to be filled immediately.
Requirements include:
- successful completion of Grade 12 (or GED)
- possession of a valid Class 5 drivers license
- knowledge of road maintenance
- knowledge of vehicle/equipment operation and maintenance
- Level 1 Certification in Water Treatment and Level 1 Certification in Water
Distribution, Wastewater Treatment, and Wastewater Collection, or willingness to
achieve said certifications
Preference will be given to those applicants with Level II Water/Wastewater certification, but it is not a requirement.
The Town of Naicam offers a benefit package and a negotiable salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Please state expected wages in resume. Duties are to commence as soon as possible.
Naicam is located in northeast Saskatchewan, where rich agricultural land, mixed forest, and numerous lakes make this one of the most beautiful areas in the province. There are four beautiful lakes within a 30-minute drive from town. Local amenities include hunting, fishing, hockey, curling, golfing, swimming, and snowmobiling.
