Description

PARTNERS Family Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering safe and healthy individuals, families and communities. We are currently hiring for a dedicated office receptionist for the duration of a maternity leave.
This position will commence May 30, 2016 and end October 31, 2016.

Qualifications:
Certificate or diploma in office administration or similar
0-6 months experience in a office setting
Clear criminal record check including vulnerable sectors screening

The duties of the receptionist include, but are not limited to:
General reception duties including phone, mail, typing and other office support  functions
Keep company archives
Coordinating upcoming programs, meetings, events, etc.
Keep entrance windows clean
Assist other staff members as needed  Forms, correspondence etc.
Disinfect and clean front area as needed (phone, desk, doors)
Respect the confidentiality of clients, staff and board of directors as per the confidentiality agreement signed by the employee upon being hired
Weekly cleaning duties rotated between office staff
Photo copying and faxing for clients
Able to deal with high stress situations and resolve conflict
Provide support and help monitor staff needs, assist staff with problem solving, assist IT staff as requested
Assist ED with meeting set up, correspondence and other duties as assigned
Help direct clients as necessary and provide information
Make sure there is clear communication between you and other staff members regarding programs and services available

Hours of work will typically be Monday to Thursday 9am to 330pm (24 hours per week).
