Description

The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a traveling road show touring throughout the province. We are looking for an outgoing sport minded individual to help us implement this ambitious project and celebrate the history of sport in Saskatchewan.

Job Duties:     
- Work to confirm the travel itinerary and ensure that team logistics are taken care of including (but not limited to) accommodations, staff & docent schedule, community liaison contacts, etc.
- Manage the arrival, in situ, and departure protocols for the road show in itinerary locations
- Work with communications staff to ensure that pre-visit media requirements are in place and on the ground promotions are ready to roll out
- Work with representatives of the satellite halls in support of the road show visit
- Serve as an interpreter, as necessary, to introduce inductees/docents and answer questions about the road show content
- Manage the exit surveys and evaluation forms in each location
- Act as a trouble shooter alongside management in order to ensure a smooth program delivery

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education (do not have to be returning to school in the fall)
- Ability to work flex hours including evenings, weekends, statutory holidays & extended hours, as necessary
- Strong communication & inter-personal skills
- Ability to work independently & as part of a team
- Ability to travel unrestricted throughout the province
- Valid Drivers License is essential
- Ability to read, write & speak in English is mandatory, secondary language skills are beneficial
- Knowledge of Saskatchewan sport would be beneficial.

- The successful candidate must submit a satisfactory Criminal Record Check prior to employment (at candidates expense).
