REQUIREMENTS:
Some previous knowledge and experience in automotive, trucking or construction Industry would be an asset. Basic mig welding and grinding skills would be helpful. Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, blue prints and written instructions. Ability to operate general shop tools such as drills and grinders, saws etc. Ability and versatility to perform other labour related duties, with good time management practices. Able to think and react logically and work under minimal supervision. Good mechanical aptitude would also be very helpful. Must be able to speak and understand English. Good legible written skills. Physically fit and able to do manual labor duties. Must be versatile in work abilities to perform multiple tasks. Previous forklift operating experience an asset. Some outdoor work duties may be involved.

Some basic mechanics hand tools will be required.

DUTIES:
Custom installation of truck equipment and accessories such as tool boxes1 flat decks, truck bodies, hoists, hinges etc. General drilling of holes in steel, wood and fiberglass, grinding,  fitting and mounting of equipment and accessories onto trucks. Assist other mechanics with installation of equipment. Measuring and placing of accessories. General labor such as lifting and placing of equipment etc. Assisting with loading and unloading of equipment. Cleaning and vacuuming of equipment etc.

Regular hour of operation: 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday to Friday

Wage is dependent upon experience, education, qualifications and work performance.

 - Mark, record and report motor defects to be repaired
 - Inspect auto parts for defects
