QuAppelle Daycare Inc. is currently recruiting for full and part-time Child Care Providers. QuAppelle Daycare is located in the school in QuAppelle, Saskatchewan, a small-town 60 km east of Regina on the #1 Highway. Its a non-profit, community organization licensed to provide care for 22 children ages 18 months to six years old. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. We offer a balance of structured activities and unstructured free choice activities, quiet and active play, creative opportunities and child-directed play.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Observe and supervise children and report observation to the Director
Plan and conduct activity programs designed for toddlers and preschoolers to guide children in social and physical development
Ensure the overall safety and well-being of the children attending the program
Assist in housekeeping duties
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and snacks
Support the Director on a day-to-day basis
Attend meetings and relevant training when required
Required Qualifications/Certifications:
Certification in Early Childhood Education Level I, II, lll or willing to obtain during employment
Certification in First Aid and CPR
Tuberculosis test
Criminal record check
Certification in Safe Food Handling Level 1 or willing to obtain during employment

Good communication skills
Employment Terms:
Compensation will be based on education and experience.
