Looking for a child caregiver for our 5 year old daughter. Must be caring, honest, reliable and loves children. Duties: -Supervise and care for child. -Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. -Bath, dress and feed the child. -Keeps daily records of activities and health information of the child. -Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. -Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. -Prepare and serve nutritious meals. -Travel with family on trips. -Engage in regular conversations with the parents. Essential Skills: -Computer use. -Decision making. -Problem solving. Security and Safety: -Child abuse registry check. -Criminal record check (abstract). -Basic security clearance. Work Setting: -Employer's home. Employment requirements: -Completion of secondary school is required. -Completion of caregiver training program with First Aid and CPR training is required. -Child care or household management experience is an asset. -Fluent in English. Conversant in Tagalog is an asset. -Valid driver's license (optional).
-Must be eligible to work in Canada. Additional information: -Optional accommodation available on a live-in basis. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT. -Hours are expected to average 40 hours per week. Some flexibility with respect to hours is required as there are days that we need child care on evenings and/or weekends. Overtime may be required on occasion and will be compensated in accordance with Employment Standards legislation. -The successful applicant will have 2 days off per week & 3 weeks vacation leave per year. - Workplace Safety will be provided. Location of Work: -Employer's home, Oxbow, Saskatchewan, Canada
