Experience: working with at risk.
Qualifications: Grade 12 and experience working with at-risk indificuals
Strong knowledge of resources in PA area
Computer Skills
Open minded and willing to learn
caring and compassionate attitude
Valid Saskatchewan driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
Objective:
To work as a team in the day-to-day operation of the shelter and to provide a mentorship and leadership role towards the 24 hr. Client Support Workers. The mandate is to empower the clientele to make positive lifestyle choices that will lead them towards self-sufficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Billing, tracking and general ledger maintenance
Training of new 24 hr. Client Support Staff
Work as a team with all other YWCA staff to ensure the best possible service for our clientele
Data collection and statistical reporting
Development and facilitation of client activities with the other staff (within budget)
Administrative duties as required (photocopying, prepping files, filing, etc.)
Maintenance of all fine option files, including regular contact with fine options worker
Provide feedback to the Manager regarding shelter issues
Attend to crises as they arise during non-office hours. Contact the Manager and CEO in the event of a major crisis.
Prioritize work, attending to the most urgent needs of the clientele first
Networking with various organizations that work with YWCA clients.
Assumes the Manager?s responsibilities in their absence
Any other duties as requested.
