Duties:
The Facility Operator cleans and maintains the interior and exterior of school division buildings and their surrounding grounds and assists the Head Facility Operator.Duties:

Qualifications:
A minimum of a Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED) is required
A valid Firemans certificate if required by legislation
Basic workplace hazardous material information system (W.H.M.I.S.) training is an asset
Six (6) months experience in a cleaning, caretaking position is required
A working knowledge of computers is required
A valid drivers license is required

Physical Requirements:
The ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects). Ability to work at heights with lifts, scaffolds, and ladders is required.
