Applications are invited for a part-time Educational Psychologist who will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team beginning August 29th, 2016. The successful applicant will provide collaborative, consultative, and direct services to students, teachers and parents. The applicant must have the ability to work independently, interdependently, and participate as a contributing member of a variety of teams. It would be expected that the work of the professional would have a balanced, proactive approach that focuses on prevention, intervention, follow-up and assessment activities most commonly utilized by educational psychologists.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education and Masters Degree in Educational Psychology.
Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
Ability to conduct psycho-educational and behavior assessments.
Familiarity with a variety of informal and formal assessment tools and also with writing functional reports.
Strong communication and collaborative skills in a team setting.
Ability to consult with parents, teachers and administrators.
Liaison with other agencies regarding students.
Valid Drivers license.
