Elite Hairstyling & Esthetics Training Center is looking for a full time Hairstyling Instructor. Must have the following skills:
-At least 3 years behind the chair experience
-Journeyperson Instructor
-You are a skilled technical master in hair-cutting, styling, color, texture, product knowledge.
-Outgoing and personable.
-You are positive, team leader, self director, lifelong learner, team oriented.
-You are an example of how successful professionals look and act.
-You practice skilled verbal communication.
-You practice skilled nonverbal communication.
-You listen with thoughtful attention.
-You schedule and prepare yourself.
-You achieve service and sales goals.
-Ability to multi-task.
-Organization skills.
-Basic e-mail and word perfect
-Instructor experience is a asset
-Esthetics is a asset
Responsibilities:
Instruct students on Elite's curriculum by preparing, researching and conducting presentations and demonstrations
- Ensure curriculum taught reflects current standards within the industry
- Provide continuous evaluation on an ongoing basis to students
- Ensure guest satisfaction by effectively managing the clinic floor
- Guide students at all time on clinic floor and resolve issues as soon as arise
- Ensure safe and sanitary practices are followed for students and instructors
- Be prepared prior to each lesson taught
-Attends events that promote the training center to the public when required
-Invents fun ways to promote sales and service goals to excite students
-Continually re-enforce professional appearance for students on dress and behavior standards-led by example

- Practical experience related to area of instruction
