The Head Start Home Visitor to work in the Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Early Head Start Program.
Position Summary
* The home visitor will provide practical support for families on-reserve
* Provide home visiting services for families with children 0 3 years of age
* Maintain client files, reports, and statistics.
Qualifications
* Early Childhood Education certificate
* Valid Drivers License
* First Aid Certification
* Energetic and enthusiastic; considerably outgoing
* Must be willing to take direction, be open to new ideas, able to learn and grow with the program, the children and the parents.
* Knowledge of the First Nations language, culture and traditions preferred
* Confidentiality is essential.
* Must provide a criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector.

- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
