Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Long Term Care & Intregrated Health Services, the Health Services Manager is responsible for the overall planning, budgeting, coordination and implementation of health services at the Health Facility. This is a exciting oppurtunity as we have just moved into a brand new building. This new building has 24 inpatient beds, a Universal care Unit and 48 bed long term care beds. The manager is accountable for developing and maintaining health service programs designed to provide quality care to our LTC residents and clients within the community and surrounding areas. This facility has the small house concept in LTC which the manager will be responsible to maintain and move forward. The incumbent is also responsible for the development and implementation of the local Emergency Plan and for developing excellent working relationships with staff, management, community leaders/organizations and other external agencies associated with the Cypress Health Region. Required Qualifications
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing OR Degree in Allied Health Services or Administration/Commerce with experience in a wide variety of health care disciplines
Experience
A minimum 5 years experience as a supervisor and/or manager in a health care environment, preferably in a community and/or acute care setting
An extensive knowledge of the delivery of health care services within a Regional Health Authority
