KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assists in determining residential and business customer needs and requirements including the sale and servicing of products and/or services and handling public inquiries.
2. Sells voice, data and cellular products and/or services. Initiates associated contracts and programs cellular equipment. Establishes appointments for install/repair/removal of wireless products.
3. Receives and balances deposits and reports any discrepancies to Business Office. Handles cash and processes payments as required.
4. Interacts with customers for trade shows, equipment demonstrations, inbound/outbound sales and retail sales. Participates in sales campaigns i.e. gift certificates, trade shows, promotions.
5. Performs administrative duties including preparing memos, letters, reports, forms, labels and service orders. Attends meetings, scribes and distributes minutes. Collects, sorts, distributes and picks up mail.
6. Acts as office receptionist, greets and directs customers to appropriate personnel. Answers telephone, books conference rooms, trips and accommodations.
7. Orders and maintains office supplies. Prepares requisitions, reconciles and processes invoices for payment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Keyboarding skills 40 wpm.
2. Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
3. General knowledge of SaskTel products and services.
