If this sounds like the company for you, now is your opportunity. FYidoctors  Prince Albert, located in Saskatchewan is currently seeking a full-time OPTOMETRIC ASSISTANT/DISPENSER.

This position will be Monday to Friday (day shifts) between 30  40 hours. This individual should be willing to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates that love working with people and who can provide exceptional patient care to our customers.

As an Optometric Assistant you will be responsible for the retail of eyewear products, pre-testing patients, dispensing, scheduling appointments, billing, and follow-up patient care. You will provide patients with contact lens training; frame adjustments and order processing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, good computer knowledge, knowledge of routine eye care, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with high end boutique eyewear would be an asset. Previous optical experience, contact lens training, and assisting clients with frame/lenses selection are preferable for this position.
