The Nature Conservancy of Canada is looking for an energetic, motivated professional to join our regional team as Communications Manager, for Saskatchewan.
The Nature Conservancy of Canada is Canadas leading private land conservation organization, operating since 1962. A registered charity, we work with private land owners who wish to conserve their lands for today and future generations.
The successful candidate will assume a lead role in the organization and delivery of fundraising and communications activities to further the mission of the Nature Conservancy of Canada and to maximize general revenue for the Saskatchewan Region.
The Communications Manager supports the Regional Vice President and the Director of Development & Communications and works with Western Regional and National communications staff. The candidate will build strong, respectful relations with news media in Saskatchewan. It is crucial to earn regular media coverage helping staff share our conservation projects, stories and successes with the broader public.
As a member of the Saskatchewan team, the Communications Manager ensures that regional communications activities conform to national and regional standards and policies. These responsibilities are to be carried out within assigned Communications and project-related expense budgets.
