The Manager, Finance and Administration is responsible for providing leadership, oversight and adherence to university policies and processes that guide all educational activities, finance, administration and operations.
Major responsibilities include administration, human resource management, financial management, that aligns with the departments strategic plan and to university and college processes and policies. The role recruits, mentors, supervises, and directs the work of all Department of Medicine staff ensuring operations are efficient, effective, and in alignment with the strategic plan, university policies and accreditation standards.
The Manager will collaborate with the Unified Head, and others as needed to address sensitive and strategically significant issues. The Manager liaises and collaborates with stakeholders to develop solutions to emerging challenges; present recommendations on structure, service models, systems, and other improvement initiatives that support service delivery and provide long-term benefit to the Department of Medicine within the College of Medicine.
