Facility: ADDICTIONS SERVICES
Job Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team and under the general direction of the Out-of-Scope Manager or Addiction Counsellor Degree Senior, is responsible for the day-to-day client services delivery (development, implementation, deliver and assists with evaluation) of Addiction Services.  Performs clinical management, community education, and community development.  Job description is available upon request.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Chemical Dependency studies or another Bachelor Degree acceptable to the employer

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

A strong knowledge of the disease of addictions and/or addiction related issues and the effects on the individual, family unit and community.

A strong knowledge of the Developmental Model of Recovery, the Saskatchewan Model of Recovery Services, the Motivational Assessment Process and the Policies and Procedures established by Addiction Services.

Ability to accurately assess addictions and or addiction related issues and make appropriate recovery plans and referrals.

Individual, group and crisis management/stabilization counselling skills.

Ability to promote healthy lifestyles in urban and rural settings and with diverse populations.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Expected Start Date: May 9, 2016
FTE: 0.50

Hours of Work: 112.50 hours per 6 week rotation
