JOB SUMMARY: The Summer Garden Program Leaders will work on establishing, implementing and maintaining a summer garden program in various parts of the city. They will operate and operationalize garden programming for children 5-12 years of age as well as maintain the gardens. Duties will include planting, watering, weeding and all other duties required to maintain the garden.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum one year post-secondary education, or accepted into a post-secondary program for the fall of 2016
Must be returning to school in the fall
Must be of Metis ancestry
Drivers license and reliable transportation required
Standard First Aid and CPR-C
Gardening knowledge and/or experience considered an asset
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
7.25 Hours/Day
To begin May 16, 2016and continue to August 26, 2016, or earlier if the needs of the division change
$15.00/hour
