Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, MD Ambulance and functionally to the Senior Manager of HR, Medavie EMS, the HR Co-ordinator will provide overall HR support including completing employee documentation, administering the recruitment process, and updating and applying policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing HR files and HRIS data input
- Co-ordinating the Performance Management process
- Administering the recruitment process including job postings, reference checks and onboarding
- Working collaboratively with the Payroll and Benefits department

Qualifications:
Education: Post-secondary education in Human Resource administration
Work Experience: Minimum two years experience in an administrative role in HR.
Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of MS Office required; experience using an HRIS would be an asset
Core Competencies: Proven and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.  Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.  Strong interpersonal skills.  Ability to handle confidential information.
