The Water Security Agency, a Treasury Board Crown corporation, ensures sustainable water supplies are available to support growth, a healthy environment and our quality of life.
Reporting to the Manager, Policy & Planning, an employee in this job will provide strategic analytical research and advisory services relative to new and existing corporate policies, programs and related initiatives, and will assist in drafting new and modifying existing legislation to reflect changes in the WSA's direction. Within a multi-disciplinary team environment, this employee will, in a lead facilitator role, be actively involved in the identification, development, implementation and assessment, considering both performance and economic feasibility, of new and existing policies and programs for WSA initiatives. The employee will support Government renewal initiatives by leading/supporting review of programs for efficiency and effectiveness and supporting strategic planning in the agency.
The successful candidate should possess a Degree in Natural or Environmental Science, Engineering, Resource Management, Public Policy or similar discipline and 6 years of related experience.
