The Early Childhood Intervention Program, Regina Region Inc. will require an Executive Director. The Early Childhood Intervention Program provides home/center based programming to infants and preschool children who have developmental delay, or who are at risk for delay. The Executive Director implements policies established by the Board of Directors in order to achieve the goals of the organization. In addition, the Executive Director provides general oversight of all staff, programs, and finances, and builds and maintains constructive working relationships with the families it serves, its community partners and its funding organizations.
The Executive Director shall have the following qualifications and skills
A recognized professional degree related to early childhood education. Such education may have been obtained in early childhood development, education, nursing, social work, psychology, business admin/with early childhood experience or to other related programs.
Demonstrated management and supervisory skills
Demonstrated ability to work with a community board and committees
Experience with early childhood program
Demonstrated ability to work with young children with diverse needs, and their families
Knowledge of a variety of community services
Valid drivers license and use of a reliable vehicle
Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector check)
