Description

Exciting opportunity to become a Senior Project Superintendent for a well-established Saskatchewan company that performs general contracting, construction management, and design-build services for industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.

The Senior Project Superintendent is responsible for overall on-site project performance as well as maintaining excellent relationships with trade contractors, consultants, designers, and clients. Typical projects include constructing bridges, dams, lift stations, reservoirs, spillways, schools, light industrial projects, and more.

Job applicants must have a minimum of ten years' senior construction management experience, including management of construction projects in excess of $35M. Candidates must have Journeyperson status, extensive concrete knowledge and experience, along with a proven ability to coach and train apprentice carpenters and to supervise and mentor field personnel.

The chosen candidate will have the ability to maintain a positive work environment that respects, develops, and motivates employees at every level and promotes teamwork, personal responsibility, and opportunity for growth and advancement. A minimum of 10 years experience doing on-site project supervision (managing costs, scheduling manpower and work, quality assurance, safety management, timely reporting of project status, and completion of projects within timelines, is required.
