The Propane Service Technician is responsible for promoting the sales and use of Co-op Propane. They will provide customer service to clients in a helpful and respectful manner. They will accept, schedule and carry out service and installation orders from clients. They will complete maintenance checks on all required commercial and filling plant locations, record any deficiencies and complete any repairs. Maintain inventory of propane equipment, parts and fittings.
To qualify for this position, applicants must possess a high schol education, valid Gasfitter License (up to 400,000 BTU's), valid Class 3 (with air endorsements) license. Preference will be given to individuals with experience related to residential or commercial propane installations. Must be prepared to respond to emergency call outs on evenings and weekends on short notice. Must participate in an On Call program implemented by supervisor to adequately service customer needs as required.
