Boston Pizza Estevan is now hiring for the position of Lounge/Bar Server.
The applicant MUST be available either days or evenings and weekends. We are also accepting applications from college students.
The Lounge/Bar Server is responsible for the service of all beverages and food to the GUESTS in a prompt, efficient and above all, friendly and courteous manner. He/she will maintain a high level of service, ensuring that all products served meet Boston Pizza specifications. The Lounge/Bar Server will assist in the cleanliness and organization of the Lounge/Bar and service areas.
The Lounge/Bar Server will maintain a high level of bar and food product knowledge and ensure all items served are prepared according to Boston Pizza's standards of excellence.
The Lounge/Bar Server will practice the responsible selling and serving of alcohol at all times. He/she will be responsible for the collecting and submitting of cash and credit cards for all transactions in the Lounge/Bar.
Co-operation, communication and teamwork are essential for a successful Lounge/Bar Server.
Other qualities of the candidate include; efficient, fast learner, able to work in fast-paced environment, and multi-tasking.

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
- Describe and advise on wine selection
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Balance cash and record sales
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
