Are you our next Team Member?

We are currently seeking a Environmental Engineer II at our Esterhazy mine. The successful candidate will be responsible to implement and coordinate environmental programs using Mosaics EHSMS to minimize facility risk and to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and mosaics corporate standards.

What will you be working on?
* Complete environmental inspections and monthly compliance reports to identify actual and potential deficiencies and audit contractors from an environmental perspective. Work with Operations to assign corrective actions and ensure timely completion of environmental related action items.
* Provide technical assistance to Operations on environmental issues and for activities requiring regulatory consultation. Advice and support project managers on capital projects having environmental implications and provide coordination with site personnel, contractors and regulators.
* Coordinate and supervise environmental expense projects and programs including management of environmental contractors performing work.

What is required for this role?
* High School/GED required.
* Bachelor Degree required with a major in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
* P. Eng certification or eligible to register as an EIT with APEGS.
* Thorough working knowledge of Provincial and Federal EH&S Acts and regulations are required to ensure employee safety, environmental protection regulatory compliance.
* Three to five years of experience in the development and implementation of environmental compliance programs within the mining and/or industrial sectors is preferred but not required.
