Description

Experience
Three years of previous bus/van/shuttle driving experience. Experience in providing customer service.

Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of the geographic layout of Swift Current and surrounding areas.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance requirements, transportation standards, vehicle safety, and related procedures.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, in both written and verbal form.
Ability to provide exceptional hospitality based on First Nations values.
Ability to exercise judgement regarding day-to-day priorities and situations.
Ability to work independently, be reliable, and take personal responsibility for tasks and deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team, demonstrating respect and consideration for others.

Main Duties:
Responsibilities include: Operating passenger vehicles safely and cautiously, according to SIGA?s established transportation policies, procedures, and routes. Ensuring passenger safety and comfort by monitoring vehicle condition, and assisting guests in safely boarding and disembarking. Keeping accurate records as directed. Greeting guests on arrival, and thanking them on departure, in a warm and welcoming manner. Responding to general inquiries and requests for information. Participating in other activities as required, in support of Guest Services priorities.
