North Country Customs is a heavy duty mechanic shop specializing in cranes and other large equipment. We are currently looking for a third year truck and transport mechanic. Hydraulic and electrical diagnostic experience would be beneficial but not necessary. Please apply to info@northcountrycustoms.ca
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Diagnose & complete repairs on all company equipment in a timely manner
-Confer with Service Manager regarding all repairs
-Provide parts order requests to Service Manager for approval
-Ensure that repairs remain within work order and that all additional repairs are approved by -Service Manager and customer before completing
-Responsible to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner in line with NCCs safety standards
-Perform work in either shop or outdoor construction sites settings
-Act in a courteous manner in order to project a positive company image
-Assist with other duties as required
-To be on call 24/7 when on call in case of emergency break downs
-Input all time, materials and equipment information on all work orders
-Keep shop in a clean manner at all times
-Ensure inventory is kept organized, up to date and advice purchaser when replacements should be ordered
-Responsible for all packing slips and invoices that come in with shipments and ensure they are provided to the Service Manager.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime as required.
