Comtech is currently accepting applications for Draftsperson. As a Draftsperson, you would be responsible for the development and preparation of complete sets of design drawings including Preliminary, Construction Drawings and As-Builts using AutoCAD. The drawing sets will include architectural, structural and electrical details. Responsibilities will include the preparation and interpretation of conventional and CAD engineering designs, drawings, and specifications within the telecommunications sector.

This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare complete sets of design drawings including Preliminary, Construction Drawings and As-Builts
Develop wireless system design for data and voice
Operate CAD and drafting workstations
Develop and prepare design sketches
Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data

Requirements:

Formal drafting certificate with CAD
3 -5 years of AutoCAD experience including standardized drafting practices
Experience working with 2D & 3D AutoCAD
Telecommunications training and experience is an asset
