Warehouse Assistant
Description
Responsible for a variety of tasks in the warehouse. Under direction of the shop personnel, will assist in regulating inventory using an ERP system, ship/receive/restock/return material, manage vehicle maintenance, organize the shop. Other duties as required.
Responsibilities
    ship/receive materials
    enter returns
    pull/restock inventory
    pick-up, delivery and packaging of material
    co-ordinate maintenance & service of company vehicles, equipment, tools
    fabrication of small mechanical assemblies
    participate in safety program/ complete inspections as required
    Maintain a safe clean shop/warehouse/yard
Education/Experience
Warehouse or construction experience
Forklift (PME) certification is considered an asset
Grade 12
Valid Driver license
Skills
Ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve and posses effective communication skills. Basic knowledge of computers, thrives in an active environment, performs with a sense of urgency and has an attitude of continuous improvement. Willing and able to accept direction and work independently.

Wage
$14-16/hr. Wage will be based on experience
