The Village of Dinsmore, SK, is looking for an experienced and professional electrician to start their own business within the community.  This unique opportunity-of-a-lifetime will allow you to manage your own business, be your own boss, work your own hours, set your own customer rates and thrive in a peaceful, rural Saskatchewan setting.  
The Village is able and willing to guide the right candidate towards housing (renting or building).  The Village will not be able to contribute to business registration, acquiring insurance, or purchasing of equipment or supplies.
Responsibilities
    Install/repair/replace electrical controls and panel boxes, splice/join/connect wires, installation and maintenance of circuit breakers and transformers
    Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
    Troubleshoot and isolate faults
    Familiarity with conventional electric devices, high voltage and energized equipment
    Installing underground wiring and cables
    Willing and able to work on any residential or commercial facilities (i.e. grocery store, community Arena), and construction sites
    Provide excellent customer service relations and pride in quality workmanship
    Ensure jobsite and work facilities are always kept neat and tidy, visually appealing to the community
    Adhere to all municipal and provincial by-laws and laws
Requirements
    5  10 years previous experience, supervisory and/or independent experience preferred
    Must hold valid Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification as Electrician
    Ensure compliance with Government Acts and Regulations, Canadian Electrical Code, and Saskatchewan Amendments
    Possess WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety certifications, knowledge of QA/QC practices
    Capable of working alone, strict attention to detail
    Motivated to start your own business, previous business operations is an asset
    Knowledge of insurance liabilities
    Willingness to relocate to Dinsmore, SK
