We are currently seeking TWO individuals to join our team as a LIVE ON SITE BUILDING MANAGERS. You will be responsible for a high standard of repair, cleanliness and maintenance of the property under your care.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep the building, grounds, sidewalks and parking lots clean and safe (including snow removal)
- Show units
- Assist in vacancy preparation by monitoring contractors
- Perform annual maintenance inspections on all units
- Perform move-in/move-out inspections
- Provide orientation for new tenants
- Perform minor repairs, as required
- Maintain effective, positive public relations with tenants, contractors, SHA staff and general public
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12
- Fireman's Certificate is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic knowledge of building trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, etc.
- Integrity and a conscientious work ethic
* The successful candidate will LIVE ON SITE AND will receive a taxable rent benefit (no rent charged), be required to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pass a minimal work related fitness test.
