Description

Melfort Group Home requires a support worker
to provide in home support for 5 adults with intellectual and
physical disabilities.

The successful candidate
will be responsible for providing personal care to residents as needed. You will also be responsible for housekeeping, social outings and recreational activities.

Applicants must submit a criminal record
check and drivers abstract UPON APPLICATION.Resumes received without record checks attached will be disregarded.

Applicants must be able to work
independently as well as collaboratively, have excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, decision making ability and be able to
problem solve quickly and efficiently in a high pressure situation or medical emergency.
If English is a second language, we require a minimum Level 8 in ESL as well as proof from your instructor that this level has been achieved.

Applicants must be able to work a wide variety of shifts, including nights, days, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and call ins.

Related experience would be considered an asset,
but employer is also willing to train the right individual.
