Do you enjoy working creatively with kids? The Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum is seeking to hire an energetic and enthusiastic student to join our team this summer. Primary responsibilities include:developing and delivering Summer Day Camps for children ages 5-12. Our camps are both educational and recreational, and focus strongly on history, culture, science, and nature. Duties also include developing and assisting with special summer events. This position is mainly Monday-Friday with occasional weekend duties.
The ideal candidate(s) will possess:
Experience working with young children
Lesson and/or program planning experience
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Creativity and enthusiasm
To be eligible for this position, you must be between 16 and 30 years of age, legally entitled to work in Canada, be enrolled at the time of employment in a secondary or post-secondary school or institution, and returning to full-time studies in September 2016.
