Duties
Work directly with the development team to evaluate and test enhancements and new features using systematic exploratory and automated testing
Improve and enhance system functionality, reliability, performance and scalability
Execute manual test cases
Design testing paths/scenarios
Participate in design, code and test readiness reviews as well as team meetings
Analyze and document test results; file defect reports and enhancement requests
Make suggestions on improving ease of use and software quality
Release verification design and testing
Skills/Experience
Ability to diagnose, report, track and effectively communicate quality issues for one or more projects
Ability to work at both detailed and conceptual levels
Proven analytical, diagnostic, and decision making skills
Knowledge of Internet technologies, Microsoft Windows platforms and relational databases
Exposure to quality assurance methodologies, white/black box testing, system/integration testing methodologies, data-driven methodologies
Experience with manual and/or exploratory software testing
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently
Exposure to Large-scale enterprise application projects
Exposure to testing products that have been developed in Javascript, .NET, and Java
Two to five years of experience in web-based software and/or quality assurance with working knowledge of a variety of quality testing tools and systems
