Job Description
St. Peters College is seeking a summer student entering or returning to post-secondary in the fall for summer work. The successful candidate will be employed on a nine-week contract ending at the start of August. The Marketing Assistant will take the lead on a marketing display that will be displayed in the local community, support Student Services in building out their content marketing strategy for the upcoming year, and support the college with various day-to-day administration work.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Leading the creation of a marketing display under the guidance of Student Services
Research, create, and organize content for the college to use in social media, email marketing, and blogs
Support Student Services in the planning of orientation and welcome week activities
Create and update St. Peters Colleges alumni database
Support Student Services and other departments with day-to-day office administration work
Qualifications
Education
Entering or returning to post-secondary education in the fall
Completion of Grade 12
The ideal candidate will be a student in the field of: Marketing, English, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a Fine Art
Skills
Excellent writing skills
Interest and understanding of blogs
Knowledgeable on Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong computer skills
