Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Team Lead will be responsible for the supervision of the Maintenance Technicians on sites within a designated area, including the selection, onboarding, training, coaching and development to ensure Broadstreet building maintenance standards are met.
What You'll Do:
Lead and supervise all Maintenance Technicians within designated area
Support prioritization of work order completion based on urgency and work with Site Manager and other Maintenance Technicians to ensure customer satisfaction
Complete regular property inspections and create work orders and coaching Maintenance Technicians as required
Lead structured day to day follow up and inspections of buildings to ensure standardization
Complete any required weekly, monthly, semi-annual or annual building and/or system inspections
Lead new Maintenance Technicians in training on building systems and Broadstreet processes/standards
Contractor management for trades and landscape/snow removal
What You've Done:
High school diploma/ GED completion
Completion of relevant trade or technical certification or equivalent experience
Knowledge of hand tools and repair equipment. .
Computer skills to use internet and corporate software.
Must have effective communication skills and strong customer focus
Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Branch regulations
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
Must be able to assess a situation for danger or safety issues.
