Description

The WildSage Kitchen & Bar located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre is currently recruiting for a casual server to join our amazing team of professionals.

The WildSage Kitchen & Bar celebrates the farm to table relationship that is sure to create memorable food experiences.
If you:
    Have previous restaurant serving experience
    Are at least 19 years of age
    Have a high school diploma or GED
And are able to:
    Exhibit strong menu, beverage and wine knowledge (will provide wine training)
    Multi-task and handle high volume service requests, then we would love for you to join our team!
Preference will be given to candidates who declare open availability. This position is great for students and individuals looking to earn a little extra $$ for the summer.

Skills and Abilities

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
 - Advise on menu selections
 - Serve food and beverages, general plate service
 - Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
 - Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
 - Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
 - Describe and advise on wine selection
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
 - Address customers' complaints or concerns
 - Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
 - Customer service oriented
 - Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
Work Setting
