Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit a Contracts Administrator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and performance of contract development, negotiation and management processes throughout the contract life cycle, including: RFP development, contract negotiations for high value high risk contracts, contract life cycle management, risk and impact analysis, and overall governance with respect to the contract process and providing advice and direction on all contract related issues.

The Role:

Review and provide feedback of client Master Service Agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, etc.
Tracking, updating and revision of contract documents for the organization
Monitoring of contract performance and compliance, including remediation of conflict
Lead and participate in the creation of contracts and other consulting documents for sub-consultants
Lead and participate in the negotiation of contracts, both client and subcontract
Conducting close-out review of all contracts
Monitoring of client and sub-consultant insurance requirements
Develop and maintain a central database to track and analyze all contracts

The Ideal Candidate:

University degree in business or equivalent
5 - 8 years of related experience
Proficiency in standards methods and established procedures as it relates to contracts
Analytical with an ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with colleagues and senior management
High level of self-motivation
Excellent organizational skills
Team player
Proficient with MS Office software
