Frameworks Yorkton is actively seeking a motivated custom picture framer to join our team with general duties and sales in the Art, Framing and Engraving business. Our goal is to provide our continued high quality standard that our customers have grown to trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is good with their hands, enjoy colours, are motivated, responsible, and have the drive to make the most of a career with us.
Experience is helpful but not required. The position can be considered an entry level position to start, We will provide on the job training in the strategies of custom picture framing, laser engraving and customer service, counter sales.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing and communicating the needs of our customers.
Strategize, execute and manage all framing needs.
Possess basic computer skills.
Framing Art, Needlework, and Cross-stitch.
Front Counter Design.
If you possess a passion for detailed workmanship, like conversing with people and would enjoy learning how to manage the varying dimensions of an art and framing, engraving business, this position could be an excellent fit.
We are looking for someone able to:
Work day-time hours between Monday and Saturday.
Excel in unsupervised solo assignments as well as team projects.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a self-starter, creative thinker, problem solver.
Experience as an artist or knowledge of art is not needed.
