We are presently looking for a creative and energetic educators to join our dynamic team environment at our child care.
The individual would be responsible for preparing and providing age appropriate daily experiences that follow the Play and Exploration Philosophy including excursions and special activities for infants, toddlers and preschooler groups.Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Personal and Professional Qualifications:
- Be genuine, reliable and resourceful.
- Pose effective communication skills: both verbally and written.
- Work under limited supervision in a team setting.
- Assist in housekeeping duties.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Ability to problem-solve and make on the spot decisions.
- First Aid & CPR are an asset
-A valid criminal record check is required

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
- Assess the developmental level of children

Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Observe children and report on observations to supervisor

- Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
- Conduct and monitor activity programs designed for young children
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
