Position Name: Long Haul Delivery Driver
Location: Madero Distribution: Saskatoon
Madero Distribution is a growing Canadian owned premium door and hardware distribution center with locations in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Winnipeg. Madero's Saskatoon location is seeking a full-time Long Haul Delivery Driver to start immediately.
This position will be responsible for scheduled weekly customer deliveries across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Delivery runs will include overnight stays as well as day runs. Madero delivers only its own product and there will be no waiting for reloads at drop sites. Well-maintained, company-owned International tractor and a 53 dry van will be provided.
This position is for a 1A licensed driver, with knowledge and experience in logbooks and keeping reports. A drivers abstract must be provided.
Position and Responsibilities:
The loading and unloading of goods
Communication and interaction with customers
Plan travel schedules and assist in the planning of routes
Maintain driver logbook
Understand and use bill of lading
Conduct inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Accident or incident reports
Requirements:
Driving record check (abstract)
Valid 1A drivers license
Steel toed safety boots
Strong inter-personal skills
Compensation:
Paid hourly (to be negotiated)
