THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION LOCATED IN PRINCE ALBERT IS LOOKING FOR AN ENERGETIC, SELF-MOTIVATED INDIVIDUAL TO MANAGE THE Legion'sS LOUNGE. APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND GOOD PEOPLE MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE;
Responsible for ensuring that all guests are served in accordance with the high standards outlined by the Legion.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge & level of service.
The cleanliness of the lounge and bar area will be top priority.
Maintain inventory and controls of bar stock and order supplies
Responsible for daily and nightly floats, cash out and inventory
Receive/record membership payments as prescribed by the Royal Canadian Legion
Take bookings for the lounge and banquet hall as per Legion guidelines
The bartender/manager will perform other such tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
PREFERENCE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING; safe food handling certificate
excellent communication and organizational skills
have the highest guest focus and service standards
familiar with computers, cash registers
be able to compile, calculate, enter and summarize data quickly and accurately
experience in inventory control sheets
DESIRED ABILITIES AND SKILLS;
must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English,able to handle cash and other payment methods
must have at least 2 years hospitality /bartender experience
knowledge of the Royal Canadian Legion would be helpful
willing to have a criminal record check and be bondable
any other duties as required
must be dependable and able to work within a confidential environment
be pleasant and courteous
have own transportation
