Description

Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment (GDI T&E) is currently looking to fill an Apprentice Electrician position which has been made available with one of our employer partners. GDI T&E partners with employers across Saskatchewan willing to hire and train Aboriginal apprentices (Metis, First Nations, Non-Status, Inuit) through our Aboriginal Apprenticeship Project.

Requirements:

Entry level to experienced Apprentice Electrician can apply

Must meet Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) educational requirements

Must be willing to work towards becoming indentured as a Apprentice Electrician

Fall Arrest, Air lift platform, CSTS 09 are an asset but not mandatory

Strong work ethic necessary

Must be Aboriginal to qualify (Metis, First Nations, Non-Status, Inuit)

Must reside in Saskatchewan
