PURCHASER/STORESPERSON
La Ronge, SK

Northern Lights School Division No. 113 is seeking applicants for a permanent, full-time Purchaser/Storesperson position starting as soon as possible and located in La Ronge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- buying the best quality equipment, goods and services at the most competitive prices, for the schools and housing within the school division, and makes sure that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition.
- accepting and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
- Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them.
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and process for payment.
- Maintain a variety of files, reports; and records of stock.
- Assist with other facilities functions, including administration, maintenance, repairs, locks/keys, and vehicles and equipment.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent diploma, post-secondary courses in office or warehouse management considered an asset;
- Basic inventory experience
- Ability to work under minimum supervision;
- Knowledge and understanding of parts and materials used in trades considered an asset (i.e. plumbing, electrical and construction materials);
- Computer skills: knowledge of a variety of software packages (e.g. database for inventory control, spreadsheet, word processing);
- Certificates in GHS (WHMIS), MSDS, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods considered an asset.
- Valid Driver?s license and reliable vehicle.
