We are a professional art gallery and picture-
framing store in Saskatoon. We are looking for a
full time picture framer.
The role of the picture framer in this store will
be to frame art work, as well as supervise the
frame shop. As a supervisor, your responsibility
is to make sure that all framing is done
professionally, with no debris or damage to the
frames and artwork. You will also be responsible
for completing all work before deadline and on
schedule. You will also be required to assist
customers with sales. You will also assist in
cleaning the working space.
Requirements:
Must be professional, focused, reliable, hard
working, team player, and courteous
Must be able to clearly and efficiently
communicate verbally and in writing through
email or other means with managers, other team
members, and customers
Must know how to use a computer to email, and
create invoices
Must also be willing to lead and resolve
issues
Must also be willing to take direction
from manager and owner
Must have the professional expertise to handle
all custom picture framing needs
Must be able to take accurate measurements, and
cut and join frames flawlessly
Must be able to cut glass, mirror, and mats
Must know the techniques within the industry to
frame items
Must know how to make sales to customers and
have excellent customer service skills
Must be able to hang framed art work on site and
off site
