Duties include:
-Responsible for the successful coordination and delivery of the annual Direct Appeal program in both print and electronic form
-Creates Council literature and other forms of communication, print and electronic form
-Develops and manages a content library for use in producing Council literature and creative materials
-Coordinates centralized graphic design services for the Council - establishing a system for handling requests, ensuring content complies with Council standards
-Oversees social media for Fund Development
-Undertakes research and develops strategy regarding successful direct appeal campaigns, yearly comparisons, monitoring and analyzing data, conducting projections, reviewing standards, data collection techniques, and developing statistical information
-Maintains positive donor, constituent, funder, media, and sponsor relations
-Coordinates and/or assists with fundraising campaigns/projects
Qualifications:
Education:
-Degree/diploma in business, marketing, public relations, communications or other related discipline, a min. of 2 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Skills & Experience:
-Past experience with direct appeals, fundraising initiatives and donor relation strategies
-Experience with web design, graphic design, desktop publishing and Adobe Creative Suite
-Experience with social media for business
-Experience with or knowledge of fundraising/development databases
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Previous experience in business writing
