Description

The Housing Director is a support position with overall accountability to the Housing and Infrastructure Portfolio Council. The Housing Director will be responsible for housing reports, budgets, and assist with proposals to INAC, CMHC and other funding departments. The Housing Director will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing day to day work orders and assessments of priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Housing Coordinator must be familiar with First Nation Housing Programs and Services
Must possess at least 2 years of experience working in the Housing area
Must have sound knowledge of how First Nation Housing and Infrastructure programs operate
Must be knowledgeable in preparing budgets and analyzing financial reports
Must be knowledgeable in new construction and RRAP
Must have the knowledge and ability to operate a PC computer, and be familiar with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
Must possess a valid driver's licence and must submit a drug screen and Criminal Record Check.
