Prairieland Park, located in Saskatoon, is one of Canadas premier multi-purpose venues, and home to over 375 events per year, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences, to VIP events, trade shows, entertainment, agricultural shows, and everything in between.
Reporting to the Manager Marketing, the Web Design & Developer will be responsible for website development and maintenance by staying abreast with emerging technologies/industry trends. This is a dynamic role touching on all facets of marketing including thinking creatively to develop new design concepts graphics, videos, and layouts in the production of internal and external marketing materials; photograph and/or video events as required; monitor ticket sales and provide on-site support to ensure ticket system and scanners are functioning; collaborate with internal departments with editing, proofreading, and posting material on a timely basis.

You have a creative bent and are able to design marketing collateral from tickets and tent cards, to brochures and media ads, all while building Prairieland Parks profile and ensuring brand consistency.
The right individual for this role will have 2-3 years of rapid web development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, E-xact e-commerce merchant, PHP, WordPress, and PHPmyadmin; and have a solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices. Extensive knowledge of graphic design terminology, layout and design standards and a basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process. As well knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CS6 including experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, AfterEffects, Livecycle Designer and Adobe Acrobat would be an asset.
