Description

The YWCA Regina is a non-profit organization that exists to support and empower women, children and youth in addressing their diverse needs in the realization of their full potential.

One full-time, permanent positions is available for Early Childhood Educators at the YWCA  Childcare Centre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the well being of the children as well as the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate programming.

Responsibilities:
-Providing a safe environment for all children with daily cleaning and caregiving responsibilities;
-Programming for children utilizing the Play and Exploration principles;
-Help prepare meals when necessary;
-Have a positive attitude;
-Punctual and dependable

Qualifications:
-Experience working with children and youth;
-At least one-year experience;
-Completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of Play and Exploration;
-Ability to obtain a Criminal Record Check;
-Ability to facilitate high quality programs and activities;
-Knowledge and experience in programming for children and youth, swimming, field games, crafts and other summer activities;
-Ability to work in a multicultural setting;
-Ability to create and maintain an effective team environment;
-satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable sector check;
-valid CPR/First Aid
