The Homeless Partnering Strategy Coordinator (HPS) reports to the Manager of Learner Services and will be responsible to facilitate the key deliverables as identified in the Rural and Remote Homeless Partnering Strategy. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the community of Nipawin and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders to increase awareness of homelessness within the community and to cultivate support for Nipawins existing homeless population. The coordinator will facilitate and participate in the development of a sustainable, community-wide strategy to develop solutions that support people who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness. The HPS coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing events and activities related to the project initiatives and for communicating findings to the community at large and the Rural and Remote Homeless Advisory Board.
